Flavorful Serrano Peppers along with the simple combination of garlic and lime are what make this sauce the perfect balance of flavor and heat. It's a great addition to any meal, but a few of my favorites are chicken salad, oysters, black beans, eggs, tuna, sandwiches, and Mexican food.

We were lucky enough to get some red serranos this year from a local farm which means these peppers were left to mature a bit longer allowing them to develop a more earthy, semi-sweet, slightly hotter flavor. Similar to an Asian style sweet chili sauce, I like to call this a pourable pepper jelly.
